Professional Municipal & Landuse Planner

The ideal candidate for the Professional Municipal & Landuse Planner vacancy will have experience serving as a Municipal/City/Urban Planner and have a thorough understanding of community development and a demonstrated experience in client management and development is essential as is a strong understanding of redevelopment planning.

ARH Associates Professional Municipal & Landuse Planner Qualifications

– Candidate must have a New Jersey Professional Planner License (PP).Experience overseeing master plans, housing plans, land use reports, and zoning ordinances.Experience with urban design plans.
– Knowledge of New Jersey planning and environmental statutes.Excellent written and communication skills.

The Professional Municipal & Landuse Planner provide expert land use planning services for private sector clients and have extensive experience with a variety of projects, from small to large-scale, residential to commercial development, and rural to urban design. The professionals are experienced in providing expert planning testimony before municipal planning and zoning boards for the purpose of obtaining subdivision and site plan approvals or variance relief, including Use Variances.

The Landuse Planners must be thoroughly versed in the requirements of State Land Use Law, which enables them to prepare and present convincing testimony to support the grant of variances or requests for rezoning. Our planners have also represented private sector clients in Builder Remedy lawsuits and in eminent domain litigation.
